What color should I paint my room?
A year ago, my sister and I switched rooms. I hated the way it was decorated, so I bought new bedding. Now, I'm (finally!) finishing up decorating, and I need some help with the wall color.

Unfortunately, I can't change the carpet. It's emerald green. I want to keep a girly, high fashion, slightly vintage feel to the room. How can I incorporate my style AND have the walls and the carpet match? What color would you choose?
I'd really appreciate it if you could give me a picture of the color you're talking about!
BTW, I know the bedding doesn't look great in the photo - in real life, it's really pretty though! The print doesn't look as small and the colors are more vivid.
you should play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think a very pale yellow-green like "chamomile" (# 6399) combined with the dark green carpet will make the color of the bedspread really POP!
